A quick-coupling valve connects to a PVC Schedule 80 nipple threaded into a series of PVC Schedule 40 fittings and a street ell, tying into the PVC mainline pipe. The assembly is stabilized by a number four by twenty-four-inch rebar secured with stainless steel gear clamps. A valve box with a cover encloses the upper assembly, set flush with the finish grade and top of mulch. A minimum three-inch depth of three-quarter-inch washed gravel sits on brick supports surrounding the base of the installation.
