An eight-foot-tall Omega Eco fence utilizes a two-inch square steel tube post embedded two feet six inches into a concrete footing. The cylindrical concrete footing measures eighteen inches in diameter and three feet deep, reinforced with six number five vertical bars and number three horizontal ties at twelve inches on center. The post extends above the finish grade with three inches of clear cover typically maintained at the sides and bottom of the reinforcing cage. A note requires the contractor to submit shop drawings including footing design for approval.
