Landscape edging separates shrub, lawn, and groundcover plantings from decomposed granite or adjacent planting areas. The metal or rigid edging is installed per the manufacturer's details and extends past the soil subgrade. Shrubs, lawn, and groundcovers are placed above the sub-base layer in accordance with the planting plan. Decomposed granite or planting fill rests above a compacted aggregate base course and geotextile separator fabric.
