An extensive green roof assembly is constructed over structural and waterproofing layers sized per architectural drawings, incorporating a Gardendrain GR15 drainage mat beneath a system filter fabric. Litetop extensive media sits above the filter, with the surface of the growing media maintained no lower than six inches below the top of the adjacent wall. Plant selection and plug or container details are coordinated with the plant schedule. Insulation, root barrier, waterproofing, protection board, and structural elements are referenced to the architectural drawings, and green roof products are supplied by Hydrotech.
