A schedule and section detail illustrate underground pipe sleeving for recycled water beneath paving and undisturbed soil. The assembly consists of a pressure mainline inside a schedule 40 sleeve placed at depth A, alongside a service line and control wires in schedule 40 sleeves placed at depths B and C. A three-inch wide recycled water identification tape is installed above the pressure mainline. Sand backfill is compacted to the density of existing soil around the sleeves within a trench cut into undisturbed soil. A sizing schedule specifies depth dimensions A of thirty inches, B of twenty-four inches, C of twenty-four inches, and horizontal spacing D of four inches for pipe sizes up to four inches. Polyvinyl chloride sleeves are sized to twice the diameter of the carried pipe or wire bundle, with application notes addressing installations in rock soil.
