An irrigation mainline originates from the utility water main by others, passing through a water meter also provided by others. The line crosses the right of way or property line and incorporates a line size bronze gate valve. A backflow prevention assembly is installed downstream to protect the potable water supply. The configuration includes a quick coupler, a flow sensor, a master valve, and continues via Schedule 40 PVC mainline to irrigation zones.
