A TSN Verticlip SLB clip is fastened to the stud web with all slots filled and fasteners provided per the manufacturer recommendations, anchoring the cold-formed metal stud slip connection to structural steel framing. The connection maintains a one-half inch clearance and a maximum three-quarter inch gap between the framing and the stud. A closure angle is detailed at the metal deck edge with a three-sixteenth inch weld, maintaining ten inches minimum from the top and bottom to the nearest punchout.
