A quick coupler valve with a two-piece brass body design connects to a schedule 40 PVC main line via galvanized steel nipples and elbows. The valve assembly sits inside a ten-inch round valve box with extensions, bedded in three-quarter-inch washed gravel that also runs under precast concrete pavers set at standard brick size. A brass swivel hose ell and rubber cover mount to the top of the valve below finish grade, operated with a brass key. Green colored valve boxes and lids are installed in lawn areas and tan colored boxes and lids in planting beds.
