Type 2 rock mulch is laid over filter fabric and placed adjacent to a curb with a thickness of twelve to fourteen inches. The top of the rock mulch is maintained one inch below the top of the adjacent curb surface. Filter fabric is installed beneath the rock mulch and positioned so that it remains completely concealed at the finish grade.
