An irrigation controller is mounted at a height of six feet to finish grade with a low profile antenna positioned on top. A half-inch galvanized electrical metallic tubing or intermediate metal conduit connects the power supply to the unit. A one-inch galvanized conduit routes flow sensor wires into the garage. A two-and-a-half-inch intermediate metal conduit carries low voltage control wiring from the automatic controller to electric control valves. A copper ground wire enclosed in PVC conduit connects the system to the building ground.
