A tree root watering system installation features a four-inch locking grate set flush with finish grade or the top of mulch. The system utilizes a thirty-six-inch rigid basket weave canister connected to a PVC or polyethylene lateral pipe via a twelve-inch swing assembly and PVC schedule forty tee or elbow. An optional sock covers the mesh basket area for sandy soils, and pea gravel is added to the basket before locking the lid. The bubbler unit delivers one gallon per minute through an integrated check valve and bubbler component.
