A pop-up lawn spray head connects to a PVC lateral line through a series of schedule 40 PVC and Marlex fittings. A schedule 40 PVC tee with socket by socket by threaded (S x S x T) configuration ties into the lateral line. A one-half-inch Marlex street elbow and one-half-inch threaded by threaded schedule 40 PVC elbow form an articulating swing joint. A one-half-inch schedule 80 PVC nipple of variable length extends upward to the sprinkler head. The top of the pop-up spray sits flush with the finish grade and maintains a one-and-one-half-inch clearance from adjacent walks, curbs, or buildings.
