A ten-inch round valve box with a lock bolt encloses a two-inch PVC schedule forty sleeve notched over the valve. The assembly connects to a Leemco service tee via three-quarter-inch brass elbows, nipples, a Ford BII333 ball valve, and a brass street elbow. The entire plumbing assembly rests on an eighteen-by-eighteen-by-twelve-inch minimum gravel sump surrounded by subgrade compacted to ninety percent. A Weathermatic locking valve cap is permanently attached to the sleeve with the top of the marker four to six inches below finish grade, supported by typical standard brick collars. All mainline and drain components must be brass, and a valve key is provided to the owner.
