This landscape detail shows the installation of deciduous trees and shrubs adjacent to hardscape elements. Two applications of pre-emergent herbicide are applied beneath three inches of soil prep mulch. Plant tabs are placed six inches below the finish grade. The soil depth measures twelve inches below the mulch layer.
