A concrete paving slab rests on aggregate base and compacted subgrade layers. A three-sixteenth-inch wide sawcut control joint extends into the top portion of the concrete paving slab. The concrete paving is coordinated with civil engineering documents, and the sawcut joint is specified per landscape requirements.
