The assembly features a forty-two-inch high aluminum guardrail constructed along the top of a wall above finished grade. One and five-eighths-inch diameter aluminum posts spaced at seven feet on center anchor into ten-inch diameter concrete footings with a twenty-four-inch minimum depth. One-inch diameter vertical aluminum pickets are spaced at five inches on center with a maximum opening of four inches. A square aluminum top rail and a one and five-eighths-inch diameter bottom rail complete the framing, utilizing five-eighths-inch square tubes welded to the posts typically. All metal is finished with a black powder coat applied in the shop, with on-site touch-up following installation.
