The pitcher's plate is set flush with the rubber infill and supported by an anchor plate system embedded in the sub-base. Female ground stakes and sleeves are set flush with the top of the E-layer to ensure the base fits flush with the turf. Each sleeve receives an anchor plate male post and is provided with one 2-inch plug with a turf cap.
