A drainage and piping connection beneath a synthetic turf section resting on a compacted subgrade compacted to ninety percent. A six-inch ADS perforated pipe is bedded in three-eighths-inch pea gravel, with a two-inch minimum depth of pea gravel required beneath the pipe typically. The invert slope varies over a ten-foot horizontal distance to make the connection to the collector. An alternative connection uses a ninety-degree elbow with a ninety-degree reducing snap tee where the invert elevation allows. Connections may also utilize a ninety-degree reducing snap tee or forty-five-degree snap Y and reducing coupling as required, prohibiting saddle tees. Two wraps of duct tape are required at all connections.
