An irrigation valve box measuring fourteen by nineteen inches sets into finish grade with the top positioned zero inches in turf areas or one inch in shrub areas. The assembly houses a remote control valve and an Asahi union ball valve connected via schedule eighty PVC nipples and elbows to a schedule forty PVC mainline and lateral lines. A four-inch minimum depth of pea gravel fills the bottom of the box without soil. Wiring includes a twenty-four volt wire with a thirty-six-inch linear coiled length secured by wire connectors and a two-and-a-quarter by two-and-three-quarter-inch ID tag. Brick supports are placed at the base beneath the components.
