An irrigation valve box assembly houses a commercial control zone kit connected to a mainline pipe and lateral piping below finish grade. The mainline pipe connects upward through a PVC schedule 80 close nipple and PVC schedule 40 tee or ell, extending via schedule 80 nipples and schedule 40 ells to a one-inch ball valve and remote control valve. A pressure regulating and flow indicating basket filter connects in-line downstream of the control valve, leading to a PVC schedule 40 female adaptor and lateral pipe. Waterproof connections tie into a thirty-inch linear length of coiled wire with an identification tag. The entire assembly rests on a minimum three-inch depth of three-quarter-inch washed gravel bed within a standard linear valve box with cover set flush to the finish grade and mulch.
