An air relief valve is installed at high points in the drip zone on a PVC schedule forty tee connected to a PVC header pipe. The assembly features a half-inch Rain Bird ARV050 air relief valve attached via a PVC schedule forty female adapter and a PVC schedule eighty riser. The valve and connection are housed inside a Rain Bird SEB 7XB subterranean emitter box flush with the finish grade. The emitter box is supported by brick pieces resting on a three-inch minimum depth bed of three-quarter-inch washed gravel.
