A five-eighths-inch by eight-foot copper grounding rod is driven into the earth below finished grade and pavement. A grounding rod clamp connects the rod to a number six AWG bare copper wire. The wire routes into a one-inch PVC electrical conduit and sweep for earth ground, maintaining a twenty-four-inch minimum wire depth. Three four-inch by eight-inch bricks provide surrounding stabilization at a depth of four to eight inches.
