A sub-surface dripline center feed connection is embedded in amended soil beneath a mulch layer. A PVC supply manifold header lateral line connects to a schedule 40 PVC tee with slip by slip by thread connections. A three-quarter-inch schedule 80 PVC nipple of variable length rises from the tee to a 17-millimeter barb tee with a three-quarter-inch threaded fitting. Sub-surface dripline tubing branches outward from the barbed fitting to deliver irrigation. Amended soil and backfill material surround the vertical riser assembly up to the surface mulch layer.
