A magnetic flow element is installed inline with stainless steel grounding rings on each side connected to earth ground. A signal converter and transmitter is mounted five feet above the finished floor or grade where possible. A one-half-inch liquid-tight conduit forms a drip loop between the elements with sealed connections per manufacturer instructions. Power is supplied via a one-hundred-twenty volt alternating current line alongside a separate transmitter output conduit.
