An exterior dome security camera mounts directly to a wall using a dedicated wall mount bracket. The bracket attaches to a flush-mounted four-inch square electrical box fitted with a single-gang vertical trim ring. Power and data are supplied via Category 6 cabling routed through three-quarter-inch conduit typical for devices, passing through an accessible ceiling space.
