The wood slat panel assembly mounts to a scheduled partition using z-clips and wood shims as required for alignment. Three-quarter-inch plywood veneer panels secure to the clips with one-by-one wood battens located beyond the main face. A one-eighth-inch bronze plate frames the panel joints, maintaining a quarter-inch gap between panels. The backing wall is painted black behind all joint locations to conceal the shadow gap.
