An interior wall partition meets a concrete fill over metal deck assembly perpendicularly with a compensation track at the partition head. Deck flutes are filled completely with mineral wool from both sides and sealed airtight with spray-applied sealant and continuous acoustic sealant on both sides. The wall cavity contains full-height acoustic insulation friction-fit between studs. A continuous plate is provided per detail 5 on sheet I-M02 at the top track.
