A pop-up spray head or bubbler is mounted vertically with its top set flush at the finish grade. The spray head connects via a swing joint to a Schedule 40 PVC tee or elbow on the lateral irrigation line. All schedule 40 to schedule 80 PVC connections require teflon tape, and four-inch pop-ups are specified for turf areas with mandatory check valves.
