A transition junction occurs between a gypsum board ceiling and a suspended acoustic tile ceiling system. A twenty gauge shadow mold matches the T-bar profile and receives the edge bead at the gypsum board termination. Framing channels and runner channels support the ceiling grid, suspended by hanger wires. One pair of bracing wires is provided parallel to the transition at twelve feet on center, with a maximum six-inch spacing from the vertical termination.
