An insulated glazing unit with a four-inch air gap is installed within wood jambs and secured with an applied wood stop. The glazing is set in acoustic sealant, and acoustic tape is applied around the frame, set back from the face. Wood blocking is provided as required at the partition head above, which is constructed per the partition schedule to meet an STC 51 acoustic rating.
