A scheduled linear diffuser mounts into a framed opening within an acoustic plaster ceiling assembly. The diffuser unit is secured to required wood blocking with mechanical fasteners per the manufacturer's recommendations. Plaster base and finish coats terminate neatly at the diffuser flange. A stud framing partition runs adjacent, meeting the acoustic ceiling system.
