Suspended gypsum board ceiling framing details show the perimeter runner channels and furring channels supported by hanger wires at each splice. Back-to-back runner channels are tied together with number 10 sheet metal screws spaced with specific dimensions including one inch, three and a half inches, and three inches over a one-foot minimum length at main runners. Furring channels are tied with sixteen gauge double loops at splices with typical one-foot four-inch spacing. Hanger wires are wrapped at each splice point along the runs.
