A tree rootball irrigation assembly connects a polyvinyl chloride lateral line using schedule 40 polyvinyl chloride fittings routed entirely around the rootball without piercing it. A half-inch schedule 80 gray male adapter connects to a half-inch Salco ultraviolet-resistant polyvinyl chloride flexible hose. Nine-gauge tubing stakes secure the hose assembly adjacent to the rootball. The lateral line is positioned twelve inches below finish grade.
