Luxury vinyl tile and resilient sheet goods meet at a flush floor transition located beneath an interior door where it occurs. The adjacent flooring materials are installed over a feathered substrate to maintain a level surface. A heat weld joins the abutting edges without requiring a physical transition strip. Floor tile and sheet goods are sized per the finish plans.
