A Schluter Schiene-AE metal edge profile separates porcelain or quarry tile set in a thin set mortar bed from resilient flooring such as LVT or sheet vinyl. The metal profile profile is completely filled with thin set mortar for edge support. The flooring transition occurs at the center of the door leaf unless noted otherwise. Resilient flooring is floated or leveled as necessary to avoid any abrupt change in height at the transition.
