An irrigation remote control valve connects to a PVC mainline pipe through a schedule 80 nipple, a schedule 40 tee or ell, and a schedule 40 male adapter, with a variable-length schedule 80 nipple and schedule 40 ell leading to a lateral pipe. Waterproof connections and a two-wire cable with an identification tag hook up to the valve inside a standard valve box with a cover. The assembly sits on a three-inch minimum depth of three-quarter-inch washed gravel bed surrounded by bricks.
