This interior ceiling transition detail joins a gypsum board drop to a suspended acoustic ceiling grid. A twenty gauge shadow mold matches the T-bar profile and terminates the gypsum board with an edge bead. The framing channel ties into the runner channel, which is suspended by hanger wires. One pair of bracing wires runs parallel to the transition at twelve feet on center with a maximum six-inch spacing.
