A two-wire system connects to a lightning arrestor and a five-eighths-inch by eight-foot copper-clad ground rod using a watertight TW-splice connection. The wiring is stripped with a four-inch jacket removal and a one-inch conductor exposure. Splice components are joined within a watertight assembly to ensure proper electrical continuity.
