A lake water filtration system is mounted over a six-inch thick concrete pad extending six inches beyond the equipment. The assembly features an Amiad two-inch TAF-750 filter with cartridge disc connected via threaded brass piping, brass unions, four brass ninety-degree elbows, and brass isolation ball valves. A purge valve connects via a half-inch diameter PVC pipe through the nearest curb or core to extend to a drain. PVC schedule eighty couplers and a two-inch PVC pressure supply line feed into the unit from a minimum two-inch water source. A ten-inch round valve box is centered at the concrete pad height for removal of the filter cartridge service, and an enclosure houses the complete assembly.
