A quarter-inch-thick custom solid surface C-shaped corner guard runs full height over a scheduled wall finish and gypsum board partition. The solid surface is secured to the drywall using a manufacturer-recommended adhesive. A three-inch millwork wall base intersects the corner assembly at the floor line.
