A circular valve box with a cover sits flush with the finish grade and top of mulch. A polyvinyl chloride schedule 40 tee connects to the polyvinyl chloride lateral pipe within the box. A filtered drain valve threads into the bottom of the tee, positioned over a minimum six-inch depth of three-quarter-inch washed gravel.
