Sheet flooring transitions smoothly up the lower wall surface to create an integral flash-coved base. A cove filler strip shapes the internal corner beneath the flooring material. The top edge of the sheet is secured and finished with a manufacturer-supplied cove cap. Heat-welded seams join the flooring sections using the manufacturer's matching weld rod. The substrate wall and structure are prepared in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications prior to installation.
