An existing Modicon M580 programmable logic controller unit designated as PLC 2B serves the heat recovery steam generator system. The assembly comprises a power supply module labeled PS, a processor module BMEP584040, and three communication network modules labeled NOC 0301 with connected network cabling. Each module mounts onto a standard backplane rack layout within the control panel.
