An underground irrigation remote control valve installation connects to PVC mainline and lateral piping housed within a protective valve box with a cover. The assembly sits above a three-inch minimum depth of three-quarter-inch washed gravel bed and incorporates schedule eighty and schedule forty PVC nipples, elbows, tees, and male adapters. Waterproof wire connections and an identification tag link the valve wiring to a two-wire control cable. The valve box is set flush with the finish grade and top of mulch layer.
