A target-type flow switch is mounted to a piping system using a thread-o-let or other approved fitting to accommodate adjacent piping. The internal vane or element is trimmed to the manufacturer's recommended length based on pipe dimensions. An extension is provided as required to clear any piping insulation. A single-pole double-throw dry contact switch is enclosed in a NEMA 4X cover, complete with a conduit outlet connection for electrical integration.
