An acoustic plaster ceiling assembly meets a metal stud partition framing detail featuring a ceiling track of a modular system centered on the header. The partition is constructed from four-inch metal studs at eighteen gauge spaced sixteen inches on center, tied with a four-inch stud brace fastened using three number ten sheet metal screws as required. Seven-eighth-inch furring channels support the ceiling finish, which consists of an acoustic plaster assembly alongside scheduled partitions. A mechanical diffuser is integrated into the overhead space near the partition header.
