A process instrument transmitter connects to process piping utilizing a floor or wall-mounted pipe stand such as an O'Brien Corporation Saddlepak series. The assembly features a half-inch stainless steel tubing installation with horizontal runs sloped at least one inch per foot, supported as required. Shut-off plug valves and unions or compression fittings are incorporated to facilitate easy field removal and calibration of the transmitter. A nominal six-inch riser leg collects entrapped air, while a blowdown and vent plug valve is arranged near the floor for drainage.
