An STC 60 scheduled partition terminates below a dowel-laminated timber structural deck with a compensation slip track secured by screws as needed. A continuous one-inch by one-inch by twenty-gauge sheet metal angle is fastened to the deck on each side. Continuous one-quarter-inch by one-half-inch closed cell acoustic gasket tape in black is provided, with continuous fire-rated sealant applied at rated walls. At non-rated walls, continuous closed cell acoustic gasket tape is used alongside a one-half-inch backer rod and sealant with a six-inch maximum dimension.
