Accessible reach ranges establish the vertical and horizontal mounting limits for wall-mounted fixtures and controls. Unobstructed forward reach requires a minimum height of 15 inches and a maximum height of 48 inches above the finished floor. Unobstructed side reach maintains the same vertical limits of 15 inches minimum and 48 inches maximum while allowing a 10 inch maximum depth for side obstructions.
