Penetration firestop system W-L-5054 provides a rated assembly for a penetrating pipe passing through a wall assembly. The detail shows a circular wall opening with the penetrating item insulated and sealed against the surrounding construction. Firestop sealant is applied at the annular space between the penetration and the wall assembly on both faces. The rated assembly achieves specific F-ratings of 1, 2, and 3 hours and T-ratings of 3/4 and 1 hour.
